Strong Courageous Men
“Strong Courageous Men” is a podcast created to encourage men to, “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” (1 Cor 16:13).
This is not only a New Testament idea (command from the Apostle Paul to the Corinthian church), but an Old Testament command as well. We see Moses repeatedly tell Joshua to “be strong and very courageous” (Joshua 1:6,7,9,18), when Moses hands off leadership from one generation to the next. When Moses hands off leadership of the Israelites from one generation to the next, he repeatedly tells Joshua to “be strong and very courageous.”
Well, young men, we are the next generation of leaders. We need to gain as much wisdom and discernment as we can so that we may lead like biblical men in the dark world we live in! First and foremost, our wisdom comes from God Himself (James 1:5). We are commanded to ask God for wisdom, and the conversations on these podcast episodes can never replace your personal pursuit of God Himself. In addition to cultivating our relationship with God and wholeheartedly pursuing Him, we see that there is wisdom in having a multitude of counselors (Proverbs 11:14, 15:22, 24:6). On this podcast, Caleb interviews men who wisely live out a life of standing firm in the faith. The topics vary from theological to practical everyday living. We live in an extremely dark world where the prince and power of the air prowls around seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8)! So, we need to pray and think hard (1 Peter 4:7), and encourage each other along the way (Prov 27:17).
We pray this podcast helps you along your walk with Christ in becoming a strong, courageous man for the glory of Christ!
